I don’t know if you guys watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch when you were younger, but I’m 99.99% sure that in one episode Salem the cat used the word ‘Frig-dahh’ instead of ‘Friday.’ Whether he did or not, it’s been stuck in my head for the past decade, although I try not to say it out loud cause I realize how odd it sounds.
Thank you to my friends who wished me luck with my recent sleeping troubles. I have to say that it’s been getting ‘better,’ but definitely not back to normal. After a particularly unsuccessful attempt to sleep the other night, I got up at 2 AM and read my book to try and help me fall asleep. Unfortunately it didn’t really help – I ended up passing out around 3:30. HOWEVER, I’m getting better at functioning on 4 hours of sleep. Hahaha… *cries*
Recently I’ve been pushing my Snapchat, since I just got it again a couple weeks ago. I think it’s kind of a cool way to post about my workouts in real-time, and share what I’m doing WHILE I’m at the gym. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, follow me! My username is @beverleyc .

Sweat Series Giveaway

Last Sunday marked the day of my first outdoor workout of 2016! I put Adam and I through a fairly intense but fun full body workout. All you need is a medicine ball and a partner:
4 sets of pull ups to failure
Round 2 (Circuit):
Exercise 1: 20 meters of: Broad jump (double foot hop) to burpee
Exercise 2: 10 burpees + 10 medicine ball throws + 10 burpees + 10 medicine ball throws
Exercise 3: 10 clap push ups + 10 triangle push ups
Exercise 4: 10 side plank dips (left) + 10 side plank dips (right) + 20 sit ups
We completed two full rounds of the circuit, and about 4 sets of the pull ups. If you try it out, let me know!
