If you didn’t know, I happened to fly back to my old stomping grounds in beautiful Vancouver, BC for a week last week. Also, if you didn’t know, then clearly you are not following me on Instagram which you should be doing =D. While I was there I didn’t really touch my website at all. And I always hate taking time off from writing and posting on here, because I feel like it makes me look like i’ve suddenly given up on my blog. Haha, I don’t know why I get worried about that – I take vacations from my full-time job ALL THE TIME, and never once stressed about it.
Anyway, I was asked to lead a boot camp for Free People, as part of their #FPLetsMove campaign held in 6 different cities around the world. To say I was honored to be asked would be an understatement. The class was rad, tons of people showed up super early to grab a spot, and we all got superrr sweaty. It was the first time i’d led a bootcamp of that size in my life, so there were a couple nerves early on, but they quickly got swept aside with my sweat!
Along with the Free People bootcamp I also had a couple days of work events and meetings. It wasn’t too bad though considering I stayed at a very fancy hotel, got to eat out at every meal, and saw the ocean every day. Usually on these work trips we manage to eat twice the normal amounts due to all the breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings, so I had to make sure I worked out as much as possible!
I spent 6 days in Vancouver and (I kid you not), stayed in 4 different hotels/friends apartments in that time. I did this so I could see as many friends as possible (if we didn’t meet up, i’m sorry!) since I hadn’t been there in over a year.
Anyway, the most exciting part of this trip was that I did my best to VLOG the important bits! The important bits being Vancouver’s harbour, the seawall, and three out of the four workouts that I fit in during the week. This is special because usually I just post one workout, but here you get three in one! Lucky y’allllll. Below is a quick recap of the workouts (since the video shows it quite quickly).

- 10x Alternating V Sit Press
- 10x Straight Leg Alternating Sit Up
- 15x DB Reverse Flies
3 Rounds of:
- 5 Flights Stair Runs
- 5 Flights Double Leg Hops
- 5 Flights Single Leg Hops
- 5 Flights Stair Sprints
